The Moe Abides
Rough day for the pooch. He was so agitated from leaving the wife and coming up to Boston, he just couldn’t settle down. We walked all over the Common and the Public Gardens, played with other dogs, did everything possible to calm him down. He still was chasing his tail around the apartment.
A nice bowl of dry aged ribeye steak did wonders for him, though, and things have mostly settled.
I just sprinkled a few drops of truffle oil on Moe’s lobster treat. Only because that’s how I would have wanted it, you know?
Sneaking home for a quick visit this weekend. In preparation I swung by the butcher shop and had them grind me some fresh lamb so I could make meatballs to bring home for Moe. He likes his lamb. If I had more time I’d make a nice rabbit dish for him instead but this will have to suffice.
When we first adopted Moe he used to have playdates with Norah Jones and her dog Jack. Unfortunately that ended when they moved to Brooklyn. He made a new friend today, though, a little chihuahua that my old neighborhood pal Eek just adopted. Eek was worried because she has been hostile to other dogs but she and Moe got along immediately. We’re going to hang out again tomorrow. Such interesting friends Moe has.

Also, the sight of two big guys like us walking our lap dogs up Avenue B is pretty hilarious. Maybe I should get the universe tattooed on my face as well.
