I love him too much
He does not. We considered buying him some but he doesn’t spend a lot of time outdoors and when he does we wipe his feet down with organic wipes right after. We also have some Kiehl’s doggie moisturizer that we massage into the little pads on the bottom of his paws, and he gets aromatherapy when the Groomer trims his nails. Really helps calm and center him.
Dog Days
Wifey and I could not possibly be happier with the new place but Moe is having a hard time adjusting. Partly just because Dogs don’t like change, but also because we have a large wall of windows and are right on the Hudson. The rain and wind whipping off the river scare him.
Made the mistake of taking him to the old apartment with me today to grab the last few items. Once he realized where we were his tail almost broke it was wagging so hard and he bounded up five flights of stairs. When we left he kept running back into the apartment before I could close the door. When I finally got him to the lobby and set him down he sprinted right back up the stairs. It was heartbreaking.
I fear this ends with him on Xanax.
Yeah, we went there.
Local and seasonal
We’ve switched Moe over to a diet of venison, duck breast and brown rice. In addition to the treats he gets, of course.
