ITT: discomfort

I’ve reached my limit at work: “I’m gonna flash ‘em, Joe!”
Getting ready to go out: “Putting on the foil.”
For a million situations: “You go to box, you feel shame.” (paraphrased)
Upon being introduced to any Canadian: “You know Toe Blake?”
Also: calling anyone who is an oversized asshole Ogie Oglethorpe.

Everything I need to know about life, I learned from watching Slap Shot.

On the struggles of youth: ‘Oh this young man has had a trying rookie season.’

When asked for a drink order, ‘gimme a grape or an orange, but none of that stinkin’ root beer!’

When something is terrible: ‘what’d you get for this, a used puck bag?’

and of course, ‘Dave’s a mess’ and ‘All I can get!’

Slap Shot is the best.

It happens sometimes, people just explode.

She’ll take the bus, she’s a rock

Day, night, doesn’t mean shit

Ordinary fucking people. I hate em.

I blame society. Society made me what I am.

It’s all about Repo Man for me.
